Rotax 1200 4-TEC
The Rotax® 1200 4-TEC engine (130 hp) is particularly designed for snowmobiles. Its key features include light weight, good cold starting properties, low emissions, wide power band and smooth running of the engine. The engine directly descends from the high-performance Rotax engines that also power other leading powersports vehicles such as BMW, Aprilia and Buell.
The new motor is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system and its power band is wider than that of our competitors’ corresponding models. More power and torque from low revolutions (3,000). There is plenty of torque throughout the entire power band (119 Nm / 7,500 rev/min), which ensure good acceleration.
The Rotax 1200 4-TEC is ideal for both touring and sporty trail riding. It is one of the most fuel-efficient engines on the market: its fuel consumption is only 13 l/100 km. The trump cards of the Rotax 1200 4-TEC engine also include low emissions and a pleasant, unique sound that reflects the high performance of the engine. The NER value indicating the EPA emissions of the engine is zero.
