The Nordic Trailblazer

We wish to cherish our roots as a Nordic snowmobile manufacturer and trailblazer in our field.  All our work aims for one goal: to produce Lynx sleds that you can rely on in all conditions and under all circumstances. The cutting-edge technical features of the Lynx sled have been developed to meet the challenges of northern nature, its climate and the most demanding riders. Read more about our innovations!

PPS suspension (Pauli Piippola Suspension)

The triumph of the rear suspension system developed in co-operation with the snowcross champion commenced in 2007. Lynx Rave and Xtrim models are equipped with the PPS suspension, which has convinced snowmobile riders of its superior functions. The PPS suspension system together with the A-arm front suspension ensures optimum steering response and sufficient spring travel - also for two riders. Download PPS -brochure (.pdf | 660 KB)

L-XU -platform (with beveled tunnel)

Thanks to the bevelled tunnel, part of widetracked Lynx models offer the manoeuvrability of a significantly slimmer sled. Enjoy your improved endurance in long journeys! The runner board is directly underfoot. The angle of runnerboard allows placing your feet closer to the centre of gravity of the sled and makes riding more controlled. The wide runner board also makes riding in a standing position easier. Read more about ergonomics

LTS -front suspension (Lynx Telescopic Suspension)

Telescopic front suspension allows more floatation surface compared to other suspension types. Therefore it gives exceptional deep snow performance. LTS also gives high ground clearance to ensure progression through any terrain regardless of obstacles. LTS telescopic front suspension is used in some Lynx utility models.

Engine Technology (BRP-Rotax engines)

Since the 1960's, Rotax expertise has been firmly applied to snowmobile engines. As these engines have been developed for driving recreational vehicles, you can be quite certain they provide precisely what is required. The direction of BRP-Rotax product development is clear: they want to provide the snowmobiling population of the world with engines that are extremely economic and as eco-friendly as possible.
