Lynx Rave RS 600RS 2022 factory racer

Lynx Rave RS 600RS race sled returns on snowcross tracks even faster and more vicious than ever. Lynx snowcross sled was released in accordance with tradition at Rovaniemi Kelekkamessut snowmobile fair 30th October.

Lynx Rave RS 600RS E-TEC has been upgraded with refinements that make the reigning world championship sled and the most successful race sled of all-time on European snowcross tracks faster than ever. Seat, suspension, powertrain and engine have been fine-tuned which makes the taillights the part of the sled that competitors will see on the track most often.

Rave RS is built on Radien-RS chassis and its uniqueness is the short rear chassis and the flexible rear part made of polyethylene.

The key improvements of the 2022 Rave RS 600RS:

• Lighter, redesigned Rave RS seat
• Repositioned front arm of the PPS²-3500-R rear suspension
• Recalibrated Rotax 600RS E-TEC engine
• Fine-tuned Racing pDrive primary clutch and Team TTS-04 driven clutch

The Rave RS race sled features a re-designed and lighter RS seat. The rear part of the seat is narrower providing more free movement for the rider. The added support in the rear part of the seat offers a better support when accelerating.
The PPS²-3500-R rear suspension has been upgraded for the better suspension balance. The mounting point of the front arm has been moved up in the chassis that allows use of more longer limiter strap position. That brings more suspension travel, thus better performance in big moguls.
Three-way adjustable KYB Kashima 46 HLCR shock absorbers in front and rear suspension have new calibrations based on the feedback from the riders and to meet the changes made to rear suspension. The new calibration improves Rave RS’s ability in corners by adding more stability. The material used in shock absorbers of the front suspension is now more robust.
The Rave RS 600RS race sled is powered by super powerful and responsive Rotax 600RS E-TEC engine with electrical direct injection. For the season 2022 the engine gets new calibrations and powertrain is upgraded to meet those refinements. Racing pDrive primary clutch features a 230/435 spring and Team TTS-04 driven clutch has a new 70/44-0,40 cam. These changes are made to improve the throttle response of the engine and to bring better acceleration from the starting line.

Rave RS is built on Radien-RS chassis and its uniqueness is the short rear chassis and the flexible rear part made of polyethylene. The flexible rear part, unlike the aluminum tunnel, is easy, quick and inexpensive to change in case of breakage. The support plate of the rear part is redesigned to prevent snow buildup on the running boards.

In 2021 season Lynx Rave RS 600RS E-TEC was virtually unbeatable on European snowcross tracks. Both Finnish and Swedish national championships were won with Rave RS and the climax came in April in Rovaniemi, Finland, where the snowcross world championship race was held. Petter Nårsa, John Stenberg and Emil Hansson swept the podium by Swedish triple win. The result was impressive also in female class, where Thea and Hilda Arnesson, sisters from Sweden, rode gold and silver.
In the season 2021 of Scandinavian snowcross, a total of 9 main competition victories and 23 podium rankings were achieved by Rave RS.

The Scandinavian snowcross fans cannot wait to see the battle of two experienced professional riders, Aki Pihlaja (Finland) and Petter Nårsa (Sweden). Pihlaja rode impressively five seasons in ISOC series in North America and will now return on European tracks. Nårsa, the reigning snowcross world champion, also raced for several years in ISOC before getting back to Europe. In addition to them, many more European top racers will be seen behind the bars of Lynx Rave RS 600RS E-TEC the coming season.

Rave RS features the KYB Kashima 46 HLCR shock absorbers both front and rear suspension with quick adjustments for high/low compression damping and rebound damping. Shock calibrations have been refined and the material used in the front shocks is now more robust.
