RIDING LYNX

The Shredder RE 850 E-TEC Turbo R with 3700 track length is the sled I use 80% of my time. I like to ride the turbo version in the deepest of days and when I want to play more. Naturally aspirated version is nice for precision jumping and when I want to keep the handling as light as possible.
Shredder RE has an excellent suspension for jumps and robust skid that can take everything I throw at it. Just an ideal machine for my hardcore riding that requires a tough sled!
I love to be in the mountains high up with great views and endless off areas to cross. But I also like to ride urban style close to my home village Fällfors. By being creative and using every hill and slope, we find ways many other riders don’t think you can ride. Think outside the box!
Every time I stand on my Lynx I feel secure and extremely confident. I trust the sled follows my lead and responds to my every command.

STARTING OUT

My first ride was when I was 6 years old. My parents had bought me a Ski-Doo Elan to use. On the first day I accidentally rode it straight into my dad’s snowmobile creating a big hole in the hood.
I guess it was 2015 when I did my very first straight backflip up in Riksgränsen. That was a big point in my career. Since that day I’ve been eager to try new things that no one has done before.

LIVING SISU

Flipping the famous Turtle Gap in Revelstoke, B.C., was absolutely my Sisu moment. Many great riders had dropped that cliff but to throw a backflip was something that no one had even thought about. Local riders shook their heads when I asked, would it be possible to do that. But Adam Thomelius and I made up our minds – we had to try. After hours of shoveling and a snowstorm we got 20 minutes of sun. I was ready and more focused than ever.
With only 10 meters of runway and a long gap to clear, it was so extreme. But I made it and the feeling after doing something like that was just unreal.
Challenges are what make this fun. Doing something outside my comfort zone makes me energized.

Must-haves on a sled trip

I always set a goal for the day – like a big whip or a jump. One goal is always to have an empty fuel tank when I get back home. It is a proof of a super fun day!

If you could take your Lynx Anywhere?

Chile looks amazing! Italy and Spain would be nice too: imagine to have 30 minutes to beach after a long day of riding.
